Racing is all about speed. Our mobile debris fence is all about speed – the speed of installation and maintenance. Our third generation of mobile debris fence improved the already easy installation, making it the product of choice for city circuits, shortcuts or areas with limited space. In addition to the fast installation speed, Geobrugg improved the aesthetics and vision of the race circuit, utilizing our high-tensile wire mesh whilst reducing the required steel rods.

What is a mobile system?

A mobile debris fence is the combination of the first and second line of protection along a race circuit. It is consisting out of a concrete barrier with a debris fence on top. The easy and fast installation of the system makes it the product of choice for city race circuits.

Where is the system required?

A mobile debris fence can be found along city race circuits or in areas which are frequently modified such as shortcuts at circuit offering different layouts. In addition the mobile debris fence is utilized in areas which have limited space available for protection.

Why is the system vital?

Time is the essence if you build a circuit. The fast and easy installation of our solution is key to every city circuit. In addition to the installation speed a mobile debris fence solution is superior to a guardrail installation in terms of maintenance. After a crash no intensive maintenance work is required.

Safety is a question of trust and reliability

Building a race circuit is for most clients a once in a lifetime project. Where to start to not get overwhelmed and what do I have to prioritize? Geobrugg is supporting the process starting with consultancy to the circuit owner and designer ensuring that the right solution is selected for the project. Once a decision is made on the solutions required, Geobrugg is supporting the process from manufacturing to the final delivery including logistics, installation training, project management and final inspection.

Globally we work with clients and contractors from various different areas - constantly listening, developing and implementing changes whereever possible. This constant exchange lead to the creation of a easy to install solutions which can be installed after a training period by any local contractor. In addition we have developed over the years a wide array of "add-on" solutions complementing our motorsport product range.

Flexible Opening

Flexible Openings are usually used by photographers or broadcasters. They can be installed in two different window heights (0.50m or 0.75m) and with a maximum window width of 1.6m.

Digi Flag Fixation can be easily installed through the connecting elements on the panel fences. Every marketable digi flag can be hung, clamped or installed on the fixation. 

Gates of race tracks in 3 different sizes

Gates

Gates are installed on the concrete barriers, providing quick vehicle access and exit. Furthermore, it allows marshals to recover cars through the gate. The door can be supplied in different versions: 1m, 3.5m, 4m or 6m.

Panel Rack

Up to 18 fence panels can be stacked into the panel rack. This solution supports the installation team during the installation phase and additionally saves spaces at the storage.

Marshal Post

The Geobrugg marshal post protects marshals and track workers. As a stand-alone solution, it is installed behind a guardrail or free-standing.

Step for openings

This simple solution allows marshals and circuit staff to access the track more quickly, easily, and safely through the exit windows. The step will be installed on the concrete barriers and can be also easily reinstalled in another location.
