Ausgangslage

Miami International Autodrome is a temporary race circuit located in the northern Miami suburb of Miami Gardens, Florida. The circuit layout runs around the parks and roads of the Hard Rock Stadium, home to the Miami Dolphins National Football League team.

The circuit is 5.412 km long and has 19 turns — the race drivers will race through some (car) parks around Hard Rock Stadium, under the Florida Turnpike and along the waterway Snake Creek. On the long straights, the racing cars can hit a 200 mph (320 km/h), and the average lap speed will be around 130 mph (220 km/h).

The circuit was designed by the Apex Circuit Design team around Clive Bowen. The first Miami Grand Prix at the Miami International Autodrome took place on 8th May 2022.
