Ausgangslage
Located between Colmar and Mulhouse, a 25-minute drive from the Swiss border, the Anneau du Rhin is currently the closest international racetrack to our headquarters in Romanshorn. To open up an additional area accessible to the public, a new debris fence was required on the outside of turn 1.
Massnahme
Our 3.5-meter-high debris fence with 6-meter post spacing was placed on the earth-banked tire barrier along the outside of turn 1 and at the end of the run-off. In addition to installing 390 meters of debris fence, the circuit staff also installed a short section of mobile debris fence at the west extension of the track.
