Ausgangslage
The construction of the cable car in the city of Bogota required earthworks to set the pylons. At pylon no. 23 near the Illimani station (the last station of the system) a block retention system had to be installed.
For the works, more than 5 meters from the hill's top were removed. In order to protect the underneath lying houses from falling blocks.
Massnahme
Additionally to the TECCO® slope stabilization system in the upper part, WARCO installed a GBE barrier dimensioned for 100 kJ.
