Ausgangslage
Mondello Park is located in Caragh, County Kildare and was established in 1968. It is Ireland’s only international circuit and offers four different kinds of circuit layouts:
- International Circuit (3.6 km and 13 turns)
- Intermediate Circuit (2.8 km and 13 turns)
- National Circuit (1.8 km and 6 turns)
- Short Circuit (1.2 km and 6 turns)
Different kinds of racing events have taken place at Mondello Park:
- Irish Car Championship
- Rallycross
- British Superbike Championship
- British Touring Car Championship
- FIA Sportscar Championship
- EuroBOSS
- Several historic car racing events
Massnahme
Since Mondello Park already has a Pit Wall, the circuit operator planned to install a Pit Wall fence solution that can be bolted to the existing concrete wall.
To ensure the correct dimension of the pit wall panels, Geobrugg conducted a site measurement prior to production. Once the pit wall fence panels arrived on site, Geobrugg supported and trained the local installation crew in the assembly, stake-out and installation of the panels.
A total of 50 pieces of the bolted Pit Wall fence panels have been installed at the Mondello Circuit.
Geobrugg provided the design layout, panel calculations, and assembly and installation training for the Pit Wall fence panels.
