Ausgangslage
To improve safety along the existing pit wall, a new debris fence was requested.
As with every pit lane, each racetrack has its unique design. The upgrade included a new custom-made pit wall gate with debris fence and custom-sized debris fence panels to adapt to the existing wall dimensions.
Massnahme
The existing structure was measured, and a new layout design was created to upgrade the existing pit wall according to the newest FIA guideline specifications.
The fence panels were pre-assembled on site, and the installation of the 100 new panels and the custom-made gate took place within a couple of days.
