Initial situation

After a severe rockfall event, the existing rockfall barrier had to be replaced. In order to protect the traffic during the design, manufacturing, and installation period, a temporary solution was required.

Description

The Geobrugg mobile debris fence consisting of a concrete barrier and a debris fence panel was originally developed and tested for race circuits. With its fast installation, the solution also is ideally suited for temporary protection against rockfall.
