Initial situation
The outlet below the bridge has a square size of 1.5 m x 1.5 m. Because of the karstic rocks, heavy rains can lead to large quantities of water flowing through the gully in a very short time, carrying wood and debris with it.
Description
Optimal protection with minimal efforts was found as Geobrugg's VX debris flow or mudslide barrier, being at that time one of the first such installations.
