Slope Stability - Waiheke Island (1) 2018

Year of installation

2018

Initial situation

Erosion and subsequent slumping of the slope below a coastal property required a corrosion resistant solution to actively support the slope and prevent further undercutting. The rehabilitation area was 600 m².

Description

The mesh selected was TECCO® STAINLESS G65/3 due to its strength properties, superior corrosion resistance (stainless), low visibility, uniform strength for anchor placement and speed of installation. The TECCO® SYSTEM also allowed tree holes to be cut for planting of the slope.
