Initial situation
At the A2 (Autobahn near Braunschweig), the cracks in the panels of anti-noise barriers lead to rupture. In the worst case, parts of the anti-noise barrier come loose and fall on the freeway - endangering people and traffic.
Description
A solution was developed with the customer’s (IVT) traffic department. A net from Geobrugg prevents noise barriers from falling out. The installation of nets was tested in the pilot project. Above all, the IHT experts positively evaluated the rapid assembly. The roadway has only been closed briefly and the quick assembly saved installation costs.
