The site consists of a white chalky hillside with flint, which was the reason of a rockfall with a volume of nearly 200 m³ with a cone of debris coming to rest behind a storage building and a residential area.
Preparatory work involved mechanical and manual clearing to secure the site, followed by the removal of the fallen material using a quick-assembly crane.
Given the degree of weathering and rock face decompression, the design, in accordance with NF 94-270 during the execution phase, led to the selection of TECCO G65/4 mesh and spike plates.
This solution, combined with systematic nailing of the area and reinforcement of several rock masses, enabled a perfect finalization of the stabilization, ensuring the slope's reinforcement.
