Coastal erosion solutions
We at Geobrugg are keen on finding solutions that are durable and sustainable. One of the latest challenges we are facing deals with coastal erosion. We would like to know:

People living and working in coastal regions know how hard it is to protect their assets from the forces of the sea. In addition, climate change has not made it any easier.
To help offset these processes, we developed three innovative solutions that can be easily adapted to suit a wide range of local erosion.

TECCO® CELL
TECCO® CELL is an engineered system consisting of marine grade high-tensile stainless-steel mesh, tensioning hardware, a geotextile layer and rock, which can be of local origin.
It is designed to protect the coastline by slowing or eliminating erosion and preventing the overtopping of waves while being cost-competitive.

TECCO® CELL MOBILE
TECCO® CELL MOBILE has similar features to the TECCO® CELL. The primary difference is the flexibility of the mobile system, with cells being constructed offsite at a convenient and safe working location in advance.
Cells are preloaded with local fill material, tensioned and then placed in difficult-to-access locations, such as by mobile crane or barge.
TECCO® TRAPUNTA
Last but not least, we have the TECCO® TRAPUNTA, which has been designed specifically for underwater application.
A more compact arrangement of cells is used to resist the most demanding conditions. Protecting water-based infrastructures, such as scouring around harbor walls, bridge piers and underwater pipework.
