Initial situation

With their continuous engagement in improving safety, the Circuit de Catalunya decided to replace the mobile guardrail system, dividing the main track from the short layout at the end of the main straight before the first turn.

Description

A moveable solution for the first and second lines of protection has been chosen to offer different circuit layouts. A local contractor assembled and installed the Geobrugg mobile debris fence within a couple of days.
