Bassin d'Antiquailles - Tranchée rocheuse

Slope Stability - Bassin d'Antiquailles - Tranchée rocheuse 2022

Stabilization of the rock face with the TECCO G65/3 system

Slope Stability - Bassin d'Antiquailles - Tranchée rocheuse 2022

Anchors positioned in the cavities ensure proper tensioning of the mesh

The mesh adapts to different ground profiles, here rocky and loose areas

Year of installation

2022

Initial situation

In case of a big flood in the region, a trench was planned to allow the transfer of water to temporary storage (quarry).
The trench is partly equipped with a reinforced concrete framework, while a linear of about 60 meters remains in the open air and must be reinforced to avoid landslides

Geology

Calcaire

Description

The exposed rock face has fractured planes that can generate local instability. TECCO system, consisting of a G65/3 mesh associated with a P33 spike plate, was selected.
The resistance of the TECCO G65/3 mesh allowed us to propose a flexible-facing solution adapted to the site.
