Montreux: Canopy on the Gorges du Chauderon

Safety measures were necessary to protect the hiking path and visitors from falling rocks in the lower part of the Gorges du Chauderon.
Due to the terrain conditions, a Canopy (self-cleaning system) was installed. The Canopy protects hikers from falling rocks and redirects the rocks further into the gorge. A ring net and a secondary mesh have been installed to protect from larger blocks and debris.
