In December 2021, the train on the railway line between Iseo and Edolo derailed due to a rockfall on the tracks.

After this accident, Ferrovie Nord initiated a project that included the installation of both rockfall and debris flow barriers at eight points deemed to be at very high risk. To further enhance safety, 31 GUARD monitoring devices were installed to have real-time information about rockfall events that could co-involve the barriers.

During the execution phase, our technical department collaborated with the Nord_Ing bureau to place the project rockfall barriers directly on site.

In addition to the 31 GUARDs, we also supplied 12,000 m² of TECCO G65/4 and the following barriers:

- 7 GBE-2000A H5 rockfall barriers, totaling 2100 m²

- 1 Debris Flow VX-080 H4

- 1 rockfall barrier GBE-3000A H6
