A landslide with a volume of around 700 m³ started in 2018 in the upper part of a talweg upstream of the Road (RD242), due to the action of significant hydraulic inputs.
Since then, during each period of bad weather, debris has been carried into the talweg. In December 2022 200 m³ were spilled onto the road.
The road remained under constant threat of further flooding during bad weather.
The upper area was stabilized with TECCO GREEN flexible facing and spike plates.
A VX140 barrier 4 m high provides the first level of retention, with an estimated retention volume of 225 m³.
A few dozen meters downstream, a second VX080 barrier will absorb the excess volume that has passed over the upstream barrier.
