In Ulvik, the country road Fv300 along the Ardangerfjord posed a too high risk to the commuters: frequent rockfalls at this spot meant an average of 10 rockfalls per quarter. Vestland Fylkeskommune took measurements by installing rockfall protective fences to solve this problem.
Opis zastosowanego rozwiazania
We delivered 840 meters of rockfall fences with the capacity of 3000 kJ and 5000 kJ. Mesta AS was in charge of building the fences which are now protecting the road.
Fence 1: GBE-3000A, H = 7.0 m, L = 50 m
Fence 2: GBE-3000A, H = 5.0 m, L=60 m
Fence 3: GBE-3000A, H = 5.0 m, L = 100 m
Fence 4: RXE-5000, H = 7.0 m, L = 280 m
Fence 5: RXE-5000, H = 7.0 m, L = 350 m
