Granulats Vicat planned to build a connecting tunnel to access the La Courbaisse quarry from the Tinée Valley. Protection works against falling stones, blocks, and rock masses had been organized to protect the personnel and the installations, equipment, machines and materials at the level of the two heads of the future.
Opis zastosowanego rozwiazania
The installation of two rockfall deflectors, ATT-20 (80 meters) and ATT-40 (90 meters), and a GBE-500 rockfall protection barrier (120 meters), in addition to the purging, mining and reinforcement work previously carried out on the cliff, ensured that the expected level of safety was achieved.
