The Government of Luxembourg is constructing more and more bicycle roads along the railway or using former railway lines as bicycle paths. In Clervaux, the bicycle path leads between the railway line and a rocky slope.
Descripción
A temporary rockfall protection was necessary before completion of a permanent rockfall protection. A temporary solution, a road fence with concrete elements and fence panels, could be easily installed by the local Road Authorities PCH region Diekirch. They will also deinstall the road fence. Future use for construction sites or events is possible.
Stabilizing the rockface with mesh (TECCO G65/3 and SPIDER) over 500 Meters in eight different zones is planned for autumn 2023.
