The section from Piwniczna to Krynica on the road 971 leads through a mountainous area. In the past retaining stone walls had been built in several sections.
Due to erosion and temperature changes, some walls required stabilization in order to prevent parts of the wall from falling on the road.
A 70 meters long wall was secured with ground nails and a mesh - with TECCO® System.
The solution maintains the stability of the retaining wall without tearing down the old stone wall. The mesh also prevents loose parts from falling on the road.
