The economical solution to debris flow: Ring net barriers made of high-tensile steel wire

Our flexible ring net barriers made of high-tensile steel wire protect people and infrastructure in an innovative and efficient way. Besides the load capacity of 60 - 180 kN/m², the flexible debris flow barriers ensure the undisturbed flow of water and can be used in multiple levels one after the other.

Solid materials such as debris and driftwood are reliably stopped. This, together with the drainage effect of the mesh, significantly increases the retention volume of the protection solution.

Three types of barriers are used depending on the channel characteristics: VX barriers are installed in narrowly incised torrents as they can span the channel without posts, which keeps material and installation costs low. Also operating without posts, the larger HX barrier spans channels up to 30 meters. UX barriers with posts offer high load capacity bearing capacity for wider channels.

Complete systems tested

Our barriers are the only debris flow protection solutions to have been tested in large-scale field tests under an extremely wide range of conditions.

Simple to install

Lightweight components reduce the amount of work required during transport and construction. Difficult earthworks are not required and the barriers are easy to adapt to any terrain, offering time and cost savings.

DEBFLOW dimensioning tool

Thanks to the quick and efficient dimensioning provided by our special tool, reliable functioning is guaranteed, even with multilevel barriers.
