The Circuit Dijon-Prenois was one of the first race circuits to opt for the new FIA debris fence. Geobrugg planned and constructed a debris fence 408 m long and 2.5 m high.
Two sections of the debris fence were planned:
- Marshal-Point 7 with a length of 184 m
- Marshal-Point 8 with a length of 224 m
After approval of the plans by FIA and FFSA the installation took place at the end of the winter break, within six weeks only
