Limited space was the reason for special mesure: the retaining ropes are guided through the net of the adjacent row. The opening underneath the net is also closed with a gap filling net

The railway line from Neuchâtel (Switzerland) towards Dijon (France) was in danger because of rockfalls.

Описание

The Swiss Railway (SBB) decided to install seven lines of RXI-150 rockfall barries (energy absorption capacity 1500 kJ) within the comunity of Fleurier. Today 380 meters of the 4 meters high barriers protect the railway line.
