The Directorate General of Highways developed a rockfall alarm system: a combination of a rockfall fence and a dynamic vibration wire monitoring system.
Further innovations combined an attenuator higher up the slope with the monitoring system and the fence below. Because of the increased altitude, today warnings are triggered earlier. It is even more comfortable for drivers to stop their cars in time.
Descrição
This attenuator consists of a 5 meters double layer TECCO® G65/4 and G65/3 at the upper slope. It continues with a single layer TECCO® G65/3 - 15 meters along the slope surface. The system has four posts.
