Geobrugg at Georado: Tangible examples of protective systems

19 七月 2017

On 29th/30th of June the GEORADO geotechnical world was opened. GEORADO is a theme park close to the German city of Dresden. In an outdoor area of 1500 m², in a permanent exhibition for the public, the most important systems for natural hazard mitigation are installed.

The opening  event "GEORADO Praxistage" was a great success. Responses were overwhelming. Our team was very busy showing the five installed Geobrugg protection systems (rockfall barriers, debris flow barrier, slope stabilizations) and demonstrating how they operate.

GEORADO provides the opportunity to see protective solutions  and how they perform in different environments.  For an interactive experience, we recommend a visit.

Please note that prior arrangement is requested: +49 350 556 950, post@georado.de or www.georado.de (German only).
