Initial situation
The Yas Marina Circuit is a racing venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Herman Tilke originally designed the circuit and Driven modified it in 2021.
In 2023, the track operators upgraded the Turn 2 section with Geobrugg’s latest debris fence system with its 6m post spacing. The updated debris fence system needs less material; therefore, the client reduced material costs and shipments. With the reduced installation time, the client could execute the installation faster.
Description
Geobrugg delivered to the Yas Marina Circuit 186m of Debris Fence with 6m post spacing. Furthermore, we supported the client with the detailed layout design and installation training.
