Initial situation

The Mandalika Circuit is a motorbike racing venue located in Lombok, an Indonesian island near Bali. The street circuit is 4.32 km long, has 17 corners. The course is situated in a new resort of Mandalika and covers an area of 405 hectares with 11 hotels, a hospital, and various retail spaces.
As the street circuit will be held on public roads, the track layout has been designed to meet the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) standards for MotoGP with the flexibility to revert to public roads outside of the racing calendar.
The first Superbike event took place November 19th - 21st, 2021. The first MotoGP race is planned for March 18th - 20th, 2022.
