The Yeso Reservoir is a tourist attraction at all times of the year, it contains 253 million cubic meters of water, an altitude of 3000 meters, its turquoise waters are accessed by the banks of the Yeso River. In this sector there is only one very narrow road with little vehicular traffic, there is no adequate signage so it must be handled with care.

Due to the constant rockfalls that affected traffic and tourists visiting the area, it was decided to implement a protection system to control rockfalls in a 580 meters long section.

Описание

The technical specifications defined the length of the area to be protected at 580 meters. The flexible barrier had to have an energy absorption capacity of 3000 kJ.
