For our high-tensile chain-link meshes an EPD (Typ III environmental declaration) has been prepared, verified and approved by an independent verifier. It has been registered and published at the International EPD System. This milestone reflects our commitment to sustainability and product quality.
An EPD is a third-party verified type III environmental declaration with quantified environmental data. The declaration is based on a life cycle assessment and must be prepared by the relevant standards ISO 14040/14044 (for LCA) and ISO 14025 (for EPD).

The EPD enables customers to find out about the environmental impact of a product, compare products from different suppliers, and include environmental aspects in the tender specifications.
Important to remember: Mesh made of high-tensile steel is significantly lighter per square meter than soft-steel solutions and therefore causes less emissions per square meter. In addition, the consumption of resources per square meter is significantly reduced.
That is why one should always compare emissions per square meter mesh, not kg mesh.
