Splinter protection cage

Description

Test cage for the automotive industry. Problem: Internal pressures up to 800 bars are produced when testing compressors. If external parts are incorrectly mounted, they can fly off like projectiles. Special requirements: The testing process must be safely observable from the outside. The test cage must be able to catch even small flying screws. This requires a mesh size of 12 mm openings. Geobrugg’s answer: ROMBO mesh with internal mesh diameter of 32 mm has been reduced to 12 mm diameter by means of a wire rod at each mesh spiral, permitting problem-free observance of tests. The test cage is provided with suitable openings for the necessary control cables.
