Situation
The international route 60CH is the most important highway crossing Chile. This mountainous route crosses the majestic Andes mountain range; therefore, the high mountain section is constantly exposed to natural risks, such as rockfalls, landslides, and potentially unstable slopes.
Description
Rockfall protection with double mesh is part of the investment and maintenance of the road. The mesh prevents large blocks from falling onto the highway.
