In the Morlupo municipality (Rome), a tufa rockface has always been affected by rockfalls of different sizes. Recently, freeze-thaw cycles and erosive dynamics due to surface water had intensified the fracturing and made it more frequent. As a residential area right at the top of the wall was affected, the Morlupo Municipality decided to stabilize the slope.
Opis zastosowanego rozwiazania
Stabilization with TECCO® G65/3 System The net was anchored with 32 mm GEWI-type bars; 9 meters at the top, 6 meters at the bottom of the slope, with a 2 m x 2 m grid. The project was configured with the Ruvolum® dimensioning tool.
TECCO® System complies with EOTA EAD 230025000106, which was an essential fact to the municipality's choice.
