With climate change driving more frequent floods and rockfalls across Slovenia, even “smaller” hazard potentials are now being taken seriously by local authorities. The private vineyard area was considered a high-risk zone since there is a source of potential rockfall on top of the slope that could threaten the lives of people who work in the vineyard throughout the year and the production of local wines.
Description
A GBE-1000A rockfall protection barrier was installed. The modular system simplifies installation, has optimized parts, and reduces workforce requirements.
The barrier perfectly integrates into the landscape.
