Situation de départ

The Circuit de Monaco is the oldest and most traditional city race circuit for Formula 1. In order to cope with the increasing speed of Formula 1, the circuits need to adjust their safety installations.

Description

Using the existing structure of the circuit, Geobrugg replaced the former chain-link mesh with its high tensile wire mesh. This mesh is three to four times stronger than conventional mesh  hence, an upgrade to the the existing structure.

In addition, the spring fixation to the cables makes sure that in case of an impact, a full load transfer can take place. This HELIX spring is also made of high tensile steel wire.
