Bikernieku Trase - upgrade

Bikernieku Trase is one of the oldest Soviet Race Circuits existing - close to 50 years in age. It was required to start the upgrading process. In a first step the asphalt, barriers and run-off areas had to be ugraded.

Geobrugg was involved in the upgrade design consulting local architects and the race circuit director on different barrier types and run-off areas. 

After the project award Geobrugg supplied the debris fence panels for the mobile Debris Fence and provided NORDBETON moulds to produce locally the concrete barriers. 

NORDBETON and Geobrugg conducted local training sessions in order to enable the local team to produce, install and repair the motorsport barriers independently.

After completion of the installation and final inspection a certificate of completion and compliance was provided.
