Situation before the stabilization with SPIDER^® S3-130 - large loose blocks are endangering the infrastructure below

Overview before protection measures were implemented

High tensile SPIDER^® S3-130 net was unrolled on the slope before drilling works began. Thus during the top-down drilling the safety of the construction crew was ensured

To provide optimal blocks stabilization and SPIDER^® S3-130 net pre-tensioning, GEWI 32 nails were installed in the dells - where possible

At the crest above the stabilized slope, an extra RXE-500 rockfall barrier line was installed to provide extra protection against rockfalls from upper areas
