Situación inicial

The GP Ice Race in Zell am See (19th and 20th January 2019) showed a wide array from historical to modern race and rally cars on ice. A spectacular Red Bull NASCAR race car delivering more than 650 horsepower to the rear axle slid on studded tires around the icy track in Zell am See as well as the single-seater Fetzenflieger and a historical Austro Daimler ADR 6 driven by Hans-Joachim Stuck. The KTM X-Bow challenge did not only offer spectacular motorsport, but fans could also win passenger rides. Skijoring competition and motorsport action in four race categories, among them open wheel buggies, race and rally cars with separate two- and four-wheel drive classification plus modern R5 cars compete in Zell am See.

The Geobrugg mobile debris fence was selected to protect the spectators flocking to the event.
