myGeobrugg
Hazards, provoked by released rocks and slides due slope instabilities from loose, disintegrated, and weathered surfaces, in potentially risky areas, occur often and can cause considerable damages to human beings, to their activities, and to valuable infrastructures, which are in areas prone and vulnerable to such natural hazards. This can be observed frequently, for example, along toll roads, highways, mountain roads, and in tunnels.
In this online workshop, we will understand the process of design for Slope Stabilization systems using Geobrugg® tools like RUVOLUM® and SPIDER®, for debris flow barriers with DEBFLOW® and SHALLSLIDE®, and for rockfall protection systems with ATTERO®.
These online design tools are a result of more than 25 years of research in the areas of protection against debris flow, rockfall and landslides. These tools will be covered with a detailed introduction by the subject matter experts.
