As part of the protection against landslides behind the residential buildings at the Quai des Pilotes in Fécamp en Normandie, the city commissioned the engineering consultancy GEOLITHE and the contractor OUEST ACRO to carry out cliff stabilization works.
The city of Fécamp selected a soil nailing solution combined with a flexible TECCO® G45/2 facing in stainless steel, designed using RUVOLUM by the engineering consultancy GEOLITHE. An additional layer of coconut fiber matting at the crest will promote vegetation regrowth, improve the contact of loose soils, enhance landscape integration, and limit the spread of processes at the cliff toe. The stainless steel version of the system ensures maximum service life in a coastal environment.
