Initial situation
Several rockfalls have occurred in the area of the Donauleiten (along the river Danube near Passau) in recent years. To temporarily protect the federal highway concrete guide walls and gap-filling nets were placed along the disused railway line.
Description
Parts of the road are protected with RXE-3000 rockfall barriers. Further barriers are in preparation for autumn 2019.
