Initial situation

During the construction of a bypass, the granite slope on federal highway B 28 between Oberkirch and Lautenbach was steepened to an angle of 60 degrees and a height of 30 meters. The slope was covered by approx. 1.5 m of scree and needed stabilization.

Description

To get all-time access and to balance forces, two berms of 3 meter width were implanted. Our slope stabilization system TECCO® was installed throughout the slope under the natural covering. The Tecmat grass seed mat ensures quick revegetation and rooting of the seeds. The slope is densely revegetated one year after the installation.
