Initial situation

The railroad line 500 000 arrives in the Bordeaux urban area at Lormont and enters underground at the northern end of the Ramade tunnel. Before this tunnel’s entrance, the profile is excavated, with up to 15 meters high embankments. These embankments are made up of silt and sandy clay, generating landslides and repeatedly cutting the tracks.

Description

TECCO was chosen as the optimum solution for this stabilization work. Dimensioning during the execution phase made optimizing the facing with a TECCO G45/2 possible, which greatly facilitated installation rates with a maximum cost/quality ratio for this project. The hydro mulching operation allowed the stabilization solution to be ideally finalized.
