Initial situation
A total of 8 different chainage locations with a cumulative area of approximately 50000 m² of slopes required stabilization. The client required an active slope stabilization system with greening which should look aesthetically appealing. This project is a part of the project 4-Laning of Kiratpur-NerChowk section of National Highway-21 (from km 21.55 to km 154.00) in the state of Punjab & Himachal Pradesh.
Description
TECCO® SYSTEM³ was nailed by fully threaded rock-bolts, with minimum dia of 28 mm to a maximum of 40 mm and hot-dip galvanized. The nail pattern was variable with 1.9 x 1.9 m to a maximum of 2.4 x 2.4 m at different chainage points. The installation was carried out by trained professionals having expertise in drilling and civil work, under the expert supervision of Geobrugg India Pvt. Ltd. to ensure maximum safety with correct methodology also guiding the site engineers and sub-contractors for optimum effects and results.
