Initial situation

Route D-875 connects Quilimari with Tilama. A road development led to multiple cuts in rock along the Culimo reservoir. These cuts and subsequent rockfall and instabilities resulted in a security threat for users of the road.

Description

To protect drivers, the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) chose a curtain mesh system to protect areas of higher risk of rockfall. DELTAX® drape was installed in seven sectors.
