Initial situation
The culvert under this bridge at the Quebrada Casa Teja was constantly at the risk of being clogged by debris flow.
In addition, one of the bridge piers could be hit and damaged by blocks of rock.
Description
Two Geobrugg debris flow barriers were implemented. They have the capacity to hold between 500 and 1'000 m³.
