Initial situation

Rockfalls are frequent at this section of the road near Treviso. The boulders, from centimetric pebbles up to sizes of 2 cubic meters, are a risk for drivers passing this stretch of road.

Description

To ensure safety, there were installed: 

  • DELTAX® G80/4 mesh adherent to the rock face
  • SPIDER® mesh S3-130 to consolidate an intensely fractured rock tower close to the road 
  • Rockfall barriers GBE-500A and GBE-1000A to prevent rocks from falling onto the highway.
