Ausgangslage
To prevent the possible collapse of rock onto the upstream abutment face of the dam wall, Geobrugg offered a slope stabilization with its TECCO® mesh.
Geologie
Moderately to highly weathered tillite with closely spaced joints. The rockmass is prone to ongoing disintegration on exposure to the elements.
Massnahme
After site investigations, a solution with TECCO® mesh was chosen. The mesh is covering an area five meters above the final dam wall height, and eight meters below the full supply level, 15 meters wide at each side of the bullnose.
