Ausgangslage
The national road DN1C connects the cities of Dej and Baia Mare. Total length of the road is 86,49 km and due to an increase in traffic, had to be rehabilitated. On several sectors the road was enlarged to 3 lanes. In some areas slope stabilization measures were necessary due to topography and geology.

The designing office asked Geobrugg to provide an alternative solution to retaining walls, a solution which also could be revegetated. TECCO® SYSTEM³ was chosen and dimensioned to stabilize a total of 2600 m² of newly cut slopes.
