For remediation the TECCO^® System was used.  To globally stabilize the rock face, 9.0 [m]  long GEWI nails were installed.  The nail pattern was defined on presumption, that the top layer of rock would weather up to the depth of 2.5 [m]. A nail pattern of 2.0 x 2.0 [m] was used.  To mitigate the problem of weathering, mulch made of straw was placed under the TECCO^® System, before the system was pretensioned.  Mulch provides erosion protection and enables re-vegetation thus slowing down the weathering process.
